Traditional Activation

For our traditional medias, we chose to run local TV and streaming flights, social media postings on popular platforms, Spotify Audio ad, and billboards in our top DMAs. Shown below are the billboards, Streaming/TV commercial activation, and Audio sample.

5 Billboards

Our target audience is generally located in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, so we will focused our Out Of Home advertising to these two cities. We want to further reach our older audience and positively associate the Oklahoma City Thunder with urban cities by placing 5 billboards per month on the highway connecting these two cities.

This minute long video was created as a sample for our TV Flight, Streaming, and Pre-Roll ads. This concept video captures the thrill and excitement of going to a game, and would be able to be cut up for other uses. We were given no original footage, so we had to use what we could find online.

Podcasts and Audio Streaming are a growing medium of entertainment among younger generations, so we wanted to be able to create awareness and interest for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Our target audience uses Spotify to listen to podcasts and audio streaming, so we suggested implementing display ads on Spotify, as well as audio advertisements. Podcasts like "Oklahoma Sooners Postgame" could target locally, while "Pardon my Take" will reach those who may not listen to local podcasts.
